Discuss Reality

I'm curious how others feel about adding the Crime genre to this film. I don't see it being referred to as belonging to that genre in any external sources--it's always a "drama" or a "docudrama." However, the entire film consists of a woman's point of view as the FBI searches her home and questions her in connection with illegal activities. Is there any reason that this isn't a crime film? Would it be a politically charged choice to apply the genre in this case? Does the fact that this is a reenactment of an actual event (or close to it) make a difference?
