Nancy Lamoureaux Wilson (born March 16, 1954) is an American musician, singer, songwriter, producer, and composer. She rose to fame alongside her older sister, singer Ann Wilson, as a guitarist and backing vocalist in the rock band Heart, which she joined in 1974. Elle a fait partie avec sa sœur Ann des chœurs sur l'album …Famous Last Words… de Supertramp en 1982, en particulier des chansons Put On Your Old Brown Shoes et C’est Le Bon. En juin 1986, Nancy Wilson épouse le journaliste, scénariste et réalisateur Cameron Crowe ; elle a fait une apparition dans son film Ça chauffe au lycée Ridgemont en 1982. Elle écrit des musiques de film de son mari, Jerry Maguire, Presque célèbre, certaines compositions de la version américaine de Vanilla Sky, et Rencontres à Elizabethtown, et sort un album solo en 1999. Nancy Wilson et Cameron Crowe ont divorcé fin 2010. |
