Discuss Vin Diesel

What are some other franchises you think Vin could join?

I heard that Sylvester Stallone recently left the Expendables franchise. I think Vin would be a good choice to take over those movies. I also think he would be a good choice to take over the Transformers franchise when Mark Wahlberg decides to move on.

Alien, Predator or Star Wars.

I'd love to see him as a grunt in Alien or Predator and maybe playing a Jedi in Star Wars.

Riddick versus Alien versus Predator wink

I also think he would make a good Terminator.

Additionally, I could see him doing an action comedy with Adam Sandler for Netflix.

I know this is out of left-field, but I think a Kojack reboot would suit him extremely well. I never even watched the original, but he has that same tough-guy feel that Telly Savalas had, albeit with a more muscular physicality that would give the showrunners a new dynamic to work with.

I think that Vin needs to do something other than Riddick and Fast movies as he gets older or he'll get Schwarzenegger Syndrome and won't be able to find decent roles in his 50's.

EDIT: Holy sh*t. Maybe I was dredging up a repressed memory and selling it as my own. There was talk of a Kojack movie with Vin Diesel two years ago. Jesus.

I could also see him leading another family comedy. He did a good job with The Pacifer. He should look into doing something else like that.

Kojak could be good. I'm a little concerned though about how it would translate into today's film world. Would they go the comedy route like 21 Jump Street or Baywatch or stay closer in tone to the original series?
