I feel like all Nic Cage performances are essentially the same: a borderline psycho who suppresses his insanity under a thin veneer of smug sarcasm, ultimately exploding with eruptions of full laughing psycho. Ironically I think the best Nic Cage performance was Andy Samberg doing Nic Cage on SNL ;)

I've never been a fan of Cage's but I did like him in Valley Girl & Moonstruck.
Samburg sounds more like Keanu Reeves.
