Biography

Son of John Aylesworth creator of Hee Haw (1969) and Front Page Challenge (1957) , and Nancy Atchison-Aylesworth.

Born in Southampton on Long Island, New York and grew up in Malibu, California. He is a dual-citizen (USA/Canada). Attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. A graduate of Dick Grove School of Music in Studio City, California.

Former Head of Marketing & Distribution for Vidatron Entertainment Group, Inc. (Peace Arch Entertainment) in Vancouver, British Columbia (Canada). Former Director of Sales for TMW Media Group in Marina Del Rey, CA and past President of Great Scott Presentations, LLC in Malibu, California.

His stepfather was Lenny Stogel, manager of Pop Music Acts Tommy James & The Shondells, Sam the Sham and The Pharaohs, The Cowsills, and other bands. He was also the creator and producer of rock music festivals California Jam in 1974 and California Jam II (aka Cal Jam 2) in 1978, as well as Canada Jam in 1979.

Grandson of Ray Eberle lead vocalist for Glenn Miller and His Orchestra.

Billy is was also a musician, fronting many bands and playing or recording with members of Flashback, Earth Wind & Fire, The Grass Roots, Tyranny, Bachman–Turner Overdrive, Billy Cowsill, Frances Plante-Scott, Rose Royce, Buffalo Springfield Revisited, and more. Bill's projects have been optioned or produced by Vin Di Bona Productions, Dick Clark Productions, Janson Media, CBC, Daniel L. Paulson Productions, Knowledge Network, Alberta Access TV , and others. Bill has written and produced television & video programming for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, TV Ontario, and Vidatron Entertainment Group in Canada, as well as various US broadcasters.
