1) Sources in the 80s said he was 46 in People Magazine in 1980 or first month of '81 and born in 1934 said now defunct Twilight Zone Magazine. He died in 2024 at age 88. A visit to ancestry.com may end this dispute.

2.) He did usually great work. But he was badly directed in an early TV movie called 'Winter of Our Disconnect'. Corny performance he and every other actor in the TV film gave. More proof of the importance of direction over actors' talents.

3.) His performance cameo in a 1985 film called 'Heaven help us'--he did fine. But the plot was about teenagers at a Catholic boarding school and he must have gotten a massively big check just to do this cameo in this real total teen flick. ( See my postings!)

PS About Ancestry.com and Canadian genealogy. It is really still growing. An ancestor I had from Quebec was never in the index of baptisms, marriages and deaths from a town called Maskinonge, Quebec until like three weeks ago. They had the onscreen microfilm of the priests' records of the town for at least ten years but this ancestor of mine baptized ( not born there) in 1817 was never in their years old index of those records until like I said. I do not know if ancestry suddenly got a better computers that shows illegible names ( like my direct 1817 ancestor's) more clearly or whether some human individual personally found his name there a few weeks and just put it in the index.

Sutherland's date of birth and place of birth would be harder to decipher if it was his baptismal record at ancestry you find rather than a government issued birth certificate on him.My ancestor was born in July ( later census records on him show) but he had an October dated baptism ( as he and his his parents were in a town twenty + miles from where his parents lived when he was born-- no more local priest available?).
