Emilia Rose Elizabeth Fox is an English actress and presenter whose career is primarily in British television. Her feature film debut was in Roman Polanski's film The Pianist (2002). Her other motion pictures include the Italian–French–British romance-drama The Soul Keeper (2002), for which she won the Flaiano Film Award for Best Actress; the drama The Republic of Love (2003); the comedy-drama Things to Do Before You're 30 (2005); the black comedy Keeping Mum (2005); the romantic comedy-drama Cashback (2006); the drama Flashbacks of a Fool (2008); the drama Ways to Live Forever (2010); the drama-thriller A Thousand Kisses Deep (2011); and the fantasy-horror drama Dorian Gray (2009).

Emilia Fox entstammt einer Schauspielfamilie: ihre Mutter ist Joanna David, ihr Vater Edward Fox, ihr Onkel James Fox und ihr 15 Jahre jüngerer Bruder ist Freddie Fox. Ihre Ausbildung hat sie an der Bryanston School gemacht und ihren Universitätsabschluss an der University of Oxford. Neben ihrer Muttersprache spricht sie auch Deutsch und Französisch.

Von 2009 bis 2011 war sie in Gastauftritten in der BBC-Produktion Merlin – Die neuen Abenteuer in der Rolle der Morgause zu sehen. Zwischen 2005 und 2009 war Fox mit Schauspielkollege Jared Harris verheiratet. Im November 2010 brachte sie eine Tochter zur Welt.

El 16 de julio del 2005 se casó con el actor británico Jared Harris, la pareja anunció que estaban esperando a su primer bebé juntos, sin embargo Emilia sufrió un aborto en el 2007, poco después se separaron en el 2008 y finalmente se divorciaron en junio del 2010. Más tarde Emilia reveló que había dejado a Jared por la depresión que le causó el aborto que había sufrido a las 10 semanas.

En el 2010 comenzó a salir con el actor Jeremy Gilley, la pareja le dio la bienvenida a su primera hija juntos Rose Gilley el 24 de noviembre del mismo año, sin embargo la relación terminó en el 2011.
