The Movie Database Support

Struggling a little and super confused. I've exported my data from Letterboxd which is saved as .csv as a Microsoft Excel Comma Separated Values File (.csv) file. Whenever I try and import it, it says that it isn't a supported file type for the website. Not sure what to do here other than adding 1443 ratings manually and 3370 want to watch which is not something I really wanna do. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @heartaem,

Unless things have changed, Letterboxd doesn't supply a 3rd party ID (like TMDB, or IMDB) within their export so it is not possible for us to support their export. We've had a number of users ask about this in the past but without that ID, there's nothing we can do.

Huh, that's strange considering they source from you guys. Thanks for the update; for some reason couldn't find this query when searching the forums so apologies for the duplicated question. Thank you for a quick response!
