I added a few backdrops recently for Final Destination 2, one of the picnic table at the end, one of the guy screaming in the car with a bit of blood on his face and one of the guy cooking in the kitchen, and every time it shows up on Letterboxd they suddenly vanish from TMDB.
I'm unsure if a mod is removing them manually or if something is automatically removing it, but they seem like pretty innocuous stills so I'm unsure of what's going on.

For clarity we are talking about the movie Final Destination 2 (2003).
Here is a table of images I'll reference in this post:
First let's get this out of the way. A moderator removed your images because they were low quality. Check the contribution bible for more info.
On the first row, you can see the images you uploaded. Admittedly, they are low quality. In fact, IMDb has the same images in higher quality (2nd row). They are ok.
I also extracted directly from a copy of the movie that had decent bitrate, and that's how I got the 3rd row, which I would consider a decent still. The car still is interesting because the frame before the one that was posted is of higher quality (not as much movement blur).
I then went offhandedly and color-corrected them because they were a bit off to my eyes (the color correction isn't that good, but I didn't want to spend more time on this). I don't know that I agree with color correction in the first place because it changes what the creator intended. I also find that doing it right is difficult.
I understand wanting to use the new custom backdrop feature on Letterbox, but you shouldn't cheap out on quality on TMDB. I provided those images to help you visualize the difference between them so that you can upload higher-quality images in the future. I would upload the ones that I extracted from the movie, but not everyone would do the same.

I see, thank you for clearing up my confusion!
Most of the stuff I'm adding backdrops for right now are stuff I have in my bluray collection so I'll def try to pop some in and nab HQ stills. Is it alright if I upload the screen grabs you provided in your reply?

Yes, of course! Feel free to do so.
