The Movie Database Support

Just a quick query, wondering why some edits take so long to be addressed? It seems like some older shows just get left for months on end to have erroneous content amended, why is this? I get that they are older, and perhaps considered less important, but months, really? For some of us who use other site which scape their data from here, it's a pain in the bumhole.

All our data are entered by users.

I understand that much. However, normal users can't delete erroneous episodes, or lock series to stop erroneous data from being added. One of my latest requests is for an episode to be removed and series to be locked, as it is the 4th time this particular problem has been reported (3 by myself). It's getting beyond a joke in some instances.
