The Movie Database Support

Hi, On the API, what is the parameter to choose to get the next releases like it is done here https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/upcoming?language=en-GB

I think it is discover -> movie but I don't find the parameter to sort it well Thanks

Discover "Upcoming"
In the system's Upcoming Request response you will find a minimum date and a maximum date.
About 3 weeks if I remember correctly.
So in the Discover Request use the filters by date, by period.
&primary_release_date.gte= and &primary_release_date.lte=
For example today, 07/07/2024

&primary_release_date.gte=2024-07-07
&primary_release_date.lte=2024-07-28

And of course, use the other filters to narrow it down.
Your Region, your country, for example
Or a shorter period.

Thanks a lot for your answer. I tried it, I copied your code (i just put my api key instead of "THE KEY" of course). I have only the movies of the 7 of july displayed maybe am I limited in number of item displayed (20 items are displayed). Is it possible to display more items ?

I redid the search now and received:

total_pages 26
total_results 517

Then make a Request for the next pages.

The number/quantity of Items per Page and the number/quantity of Pages
cannot be changed, configured, specified, restricted, or anything like that.
There will always be up to 20 items per page.
And a maximum of 500 pages.
Therefore, at most 10,000 items.

Of course, depending on the parameters used in your API Request
this number/quantity can be much smaller.
Eventually zero.

In a Trending API Request, the quantities are greater.
A maximum of 1,000 pages
Therefore a maximum of 20,000 items

What you can do is just specify the page number you want.

That is, make an API Request for each page.
