Not really sure how to decide here. From what I've read, the original anime adapted the manga fully, but left out a lot of chapters that will be adapted in Horimiya: Piece. So it might make more sense for it to be added as a completely new series than a season 2.

Normally, side stories, as opposed to sequels, should be listed as a separate entry.

But, here, like @Sheigutn , I have a problem. It is listed as a side-story on MyAnimeList and AnimeNewsNetwork, but as a sequel on AniDB.

So, I will let @Sheigutn decide.

I've noticed it too. Only after I reported it as duplicate. Let me know what will be decided. Still maybe cause it's officially restarted and will continue in season 2, which few believed, for me takes logic to stick as season 2 here and not separate 😌

I agree with you. Since most of the other databases are considering it as a Side Story it's better to keep it as a separate show to keep the data consistent.

Also, if you consider going with a separate show please lock the create new season button of this one.

Ok, just to be sure. The separated show was deleted, so this will be listed as season 2 of the main show?

Personally, I believe it should be separeated, just like Ousama Ranking this season. I just wanted to know if this decision is definitive.

I forgot about this thread, but I'd still stick to my original opinion that separating it would be better. Seems like in the meantime Rebecca deleted the other entry because of Jagx's report and had no idea this discussion here existed.

I recreated it, removed season 2 here and locked the status.
