The post-apocalyptic misadventures of Rafe and Gabe Burns, two brothers who are hired to become protectors of their rural hometown. Unbeknownst to them, their long-lost mother Judith is locked in a secret military super bunker. As Judith tries to outwit the super bunker’s sentient computer system and get back to her sons, Rafe and Gabe discover the wonders, horrors, and temptations of the wasteland.

Dans un monde post-apocalyptique où la Terre et ses habitants ont subi de terribles mutations, deux frères survivants dysfonctionnels sont embauchés pour devenir les protecteurs de leur village natal au fin fond du Québec. À l'insu de Raph et Gab, leur mère Judith est piégée seule dans un super bunker militaire avec un système informatique quantique, qui tombe amoureux d'elle. Judith doit déjouer cette affectueuse I.A. pour s'échapper et retrouver ses fils. Alors que Raph et Gab découvrent les merveilles, les horreurs et les tentations de ce «nouveau monde», ils apprennent que même après l’apocalypse, la rivalité entre frères survit pour toujours.
