Both this and Rome ended too soon. Both were because of budget issues weren't they?

Good news is I believe they're working on finishing this in the form of a movie. Hopefully they do, great show, deserves an ending.

It's been the ultimate tease, saying the movie will be made.

In the meantime, watch the series a few times. You'll always pick up on something new.

Does anyone recall John From Cincinnati? A one season HBO series that came out around the time of deadwood. I thought it was interesting.

Yes another show killed before it was done. A sorta quick finale at least. A quirky show for sure but enjoyable. "I don't know, Butchie, instead. I'm dumping out".

Deadwood is one of my all-time favorites, very similar in many ways to two others, The Sopranos and Game of Thrones.
