Not sure which episode you're referring to, just finished season 8 yesterday. It helped that I haven't watched in a long time so it was great to catch up with the series. They should do less episodes though cos some were forgettable. The episodes that stood out to me were the 5 minute ones (cos of the format, enjoyed Jay's story though) and the in-laws helping each other out, liked the reveal at the end they did inception like planted the Italy idea.

Just watched the season premiere, and while I enjoy watching the kids grow up on screen, it's not as funny anymore. They have a few good episodes a season, but the show needs to be reimagined.

I normally do not watch MF 'live', I catch the reruns on a local channel (2 episodes, 5 times a week) sometimes. But I did watch the season premiere, wasn't impressed. I think it's time to end it. Also did Julie Bowen have some surgery on her face?
