It was actually still semi-watchable through season 6. Now is just noise. Not even funny sounding noise.

I think the show was HOT when gay marriage was still brand new and even illegal. Now with several years later gay marriage is not even a controversial topic so its like not edgy at all.

Cam and Mitchell went from this compelling new thing to wow this is just like every other boring parents/kid dynamic. But to your point it used to be laugh out loud hilarious and yeah like you said its kinda like an annoying noise lol.

Maybe they'll have to show Sofia naked to save the show soon lol jk.

I think they really are desperate as they killed off Mitchell and Claire's mom, Jay's first wife, and they made it all mysterious like tune in next season to see who we kill off LOL

Holding my nose, just started the 10th season. Wow, did they really think that bringing (now) two cousin Olivers (Joe and whatever Cam's nephew's name is) onto the show would help rejuvenate it as the kids are now all in their 40s? Are not the writers aware of the whole Cousin Oliver syndrome?

Also, Lilly was just fine and often quite funny when she was even too young to understand the comedy of her lines. Now she is just a bad actress that does not add anything. But of course how do you simply write out a once charming child actor that grew into a bad adolescent one?

Thats what I was thinking Joe is annoying at least when Manny was young he was charming and charismatic, joes just like any other toddler brat he added nothing to the show at all.

Cam's nephew and sister are both horrendous to watch. I get it the sister is the real bad apple in the family, she's a criminal and you can't trust her but why give her more than 5minutes of camera time its not like she's funny at all. Her kid is not even cute or funny just another Joe an obnoxious brat. Why did the writers feel this was a good route to go?

If you saw this weeks episode it looks like Cam's nephew and mom are now moving upstairs from Cam and Mitchell so they will not be regulars on the show. Horrible decision right?

Yeah Lilly was adorable as a baby, OK as a kid, but annoying as a big kid. She's like mean and condescending towards everyone. Plus she's tall now like taller than all the other kids lol and they are like 15 years older than her lol.

Totally agree about Cam's sister too. At least Middle kept a certain amount of its shine even in its final years (though, sorry for being so critical of everything, but Brick's over-weirdness stopped being so funny and should have had him placed in a mental hospital a year into puberty ). Still on only the 5th episode of this 10th season with Modern Family. I am sure I will finish it.

LOL Brick was so odd, I never watched the Middle consistently just caught a few episodes here and there. I always thought the daughter was attractive in a very weird strange way lol.

Shows been on 10 years now.......its not fresh and new. ideas run out. that's why shows end. when they bring In the pregnancy storyline its time to pack it up. that's the bottom of the barrel for a sitcom

Two new kids ago it should have ended. Just heard it has been renewed for an 11th season. Wow, how low can they go?

LOL yeah Haley getting knocked up and becoming a mother is pretty much a hail marry pass, but if they wanted to go for shock value like the 90210 route they'd make Alex get knocked up much like Andrea Zuckerman did being the smart, studious one who was supposed to achieve great things.
