Kanata Rivington, procedente de Inglaterra y de ascendencia japonesa, llega a Japón en una búsqueda personal. En el seno de la familia que lo acoge, se cruza con la MFG, la famosa competición de carreras automovilísticas.

Comienza el séptimo y último día de la ronda clasificatoria de la MFG, y Kanata no tarda en hacerse notar por su ascenso fulgurante en la tabla de tiempos.

Después de dejar a todo el mundo boquiabierto con su temeraria conducción, Kanata se adentra en el tramo final de la carrera clasificatoria. ¿Logrará entrar en los 15 primeros y obtener un pase para la verdadera carrera?

While everyone is suitably impressed with what Kanata is achieving, there are battles up and down the field, and it quickly becomes apparent that the 86 isn't the only car the MFG viewers should be keeping a close eye on.

On the approach to the death zone for the second time, Kanata starts to make his move. But does he have enough life left in his tires to climb up the order?

After making up a bunch of places in the death zone, Kanata enters the final sector, but with the long straight at the end of the lap highlighting the 86's main weakness, can he hold on to his current position all the way to the checkered flag?

Kanata managed to haul the 86 up to unexpected heights at Odawara Pikes Peak, but the next race is on a course that is a lot flatter with fewer downhill sections where he can make up for his car's lack of power, so it's time to tune his ride!

Qualifying begins for the second race of the season, which is set to take place at Lake Ashinoko. With Kanata set to do his run on a later day, other drivers get their moment to shine.
