Yeah, I don't mind the drama queens. It keeps things entertaining, while at the same time, we get to see some decent designs. This go around, I want to see HIGH FASHION. I want to see couture -- not so much ready-wear.
This time, I noticed that they didn't use any plus-size models. Hmmm. ...
I'm okay w/that, because I didn't think it was fair to begin with since not everyone had a plus-size model.
I'd have to check, but I think everyone who lasted had a range of models, which was the idea. However, I'm not married to having plus-sized models. So far I largely agree with the judges, except last night.

My point is that they all should have had plus-size for the same challenge. I think it's not fair for someone to have a plus-size for an unconventional and another designer has a plus-size for a group challenge.
Yeah, I understand. Personally, I think it was fair and all these designers should be able to design for any size or shape of woman. But I can understand your point of view and it is equally as valid as mine. My wife and I design and make costumes (what most people these days call Cosplay.) Since she is plus size, and I'm no slim chicken, we are far more used to designing for that size range. It has always been one of our criticisms of this and other fashion shows that the models are so far off the "norm" of human sizes.

I really like Anthony. I doubt he will win, but I always appreciated that he tried to make gowns. I hate to see all of this ready-to-wear stuff all of the time.
Thrilled to see Kelly back. Nooooo, she was eliminated. No way hers was the worst! Char should have gone.
Well, that's what she gets for not following the rules of the competition. I kept looking at her outfit, and I couldn't find anything distressed about it. So, I can totally see why she went home over Stanley.
She must have been full of herself or confident in her safety to spend time making earphones, when she didn't even make the requirements of the challenge.
I didn't like this challenge either. But then I hate distressed fashion. They look like posers. The steampunk challenge they had a few seasons ago was much better.
Will there ever be a challenge in which the designers get to make whatever they want? I know on the first episodes of seasons that was done, but I don't know anymore.

There are always several contestants that are there for drama. Every season. Mostly I don't mind.

Just got caught up. Thoughts:
There are 3 designers that I vaguely recognize but can't remember their work at all. Stanley, Kimberly and Michelle. I think those are the names.
Thrilled to see Kelly back. Nooooo, she was eliminated. No way hers was the worst! Char should have gone.
I like Anthony too. He is such a southern belle.
If making vulgar cloths is all star material, then I guess Casanova qualifies. He deserved to go last week.

So true. I like the chemical in his hair comment.

I see your point, but that is her. She loves her embellishments!

I really didn't like this challenge that much, because Iike Anthony, I didn't want to see them ugly the garments.

Last season was the multifaceted challenges. Several points to hit every week. I agree, bring back the simpicity. Show us who you are as a designer.
