In S1E03 "The Cat Came Back" Jim puts the cat his foot in his mouth again. Instead of burying Cheryl's cat, Mr. Feeney, in the backyard - as he promised - he stuck it in the freezer and then goes to a game of his favourite football team, the Chicago Bears.

Later Jim tries to apologize with a quick fix. He gets her the dog that he - Jim - always wanted to replace Mr. Feeney.

Jim: "Problem? Problem solved!"
