"24:Redemption" was officially presented by Fox, the broadcaster, as a special, not as a movie. This is visible for example here.(screenshot), here (screenshot) and here (screenshot).

Consequently, the entry that need to be removed is not this special episode entry, but the movie entry. Especially taking in account that all the release dates that were listed on that movie entry have been verified and that none of them were really theatrical.

This is also confirmed by the fact that the 2012 archived page of our entry (4 years after the broadcast) didn't even include the exact release date and mention just 2008-01-01, which mean that this entry wasn't created at the time of the broadcast.

I will wait for the end of the maintenance of the Changes history to be able to verify when the page was really created before removing it.

Wasn't "24:Redemption" released as a TV movie and also released as a standalone DVD? Wouldn't this be same as many of the star trek tv movies such as https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/926294-star-trek-deep-space-nine-emissary or https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/731926-star-trek-the-next-generation-the-best-of-both-worlds and should remain as a movie entry?

EDIT: You can even see it listed here https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/24-Redemption-Blu-ray/120526 which was used as justification for one of the star trek movies above via this thread -> https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/731926-star-trek-the-next-generation-the-best-of-both-worlds/discuss/61232d2e8741c400441121b9

Based on the Fox website, it was released as a special episode. The fact that it was later released as a standalone DVD has no impact on the situation.

These Star Trek movies entries are allowed as per our "Thematic television episode compilations released on VHS or DVD" rule, as they are compilation of 2 episodes.

I quote Rebecca answer in the thread you link : "The episodes were released on Blu-ray edited together as one, so I've set the video tag to yes." The main part of this answer is that there were multiple episodes edited in one.

I see decision made as https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/13989-24-redemption is deleted. Fine, its your database your decision.

What I find extremely disappointing is that you just deleted it and did not even bother copying any of the relevant metadata from the movie to the special episode (like cast credits etc...). This blunt delete you admins do without any consideration for the data you are deleting is frustrating and unprofessional from admins of such a good media resource. You can and SHOULD do better!
