Is the reboot still happening?

I remember hearing something about a Charmed reboot but the CW doesn't have a show order for the 2017-2018 season.

It was cancled. The demand just wasnt there

Latest I read is that they're still working on it, with plans to bring it out later this year.
Which I think is a bad idea overall. And especially, if they're going to have it set in the 70s, wouldn't that conflict with That 70s Episode? Just for starters. And how are they supposedly going to have access to The Power Of Three if they're not sisters, etc? I don't recall Melinda Warren or anyone else allowing for basically a group of strangers to have that ability.
Frankly it sounds like garbage from start to finish.

The CW recently ordered a pilot to be made. If they want it apart of their network they'll order it to series in May. If not they'll just pass on it.
