Today she was on and she was saying in her early days in New York she dated lawyers and a chef. She seemed to have a lot of "dates." Surely it can't only be me that these dates were hooker/john dates and not regular dates. The reason being is because even today people will say they can tell right off Laverne is biologically a male, so it's unlikely a man would seriously date a non-passable transsexual. I knew one in Texas, except she was over 6 foot and white, but not always passable, and men wouldn't even be seen in public with her.

On the other hand I did know another trans who was passable and she went on about 15 dates in five years. The problem was she would rarely hear from them again after the first, or maybe the second, time. They did go out in public on a regular date though, not behind closed doors like with the other one.
