Item: Season 2

Language: en-US

Type of Problem: Incorrect_content

Extra Details: According to your rules, this season shouldn't exist.

Episode 1 of Season 2 is episode 12 on the official website: https://ichigoproduction.com/Season2/story/12.html

Therefore, this season needs to be combined with season 1.

Agree!Need to be corrected, episode 12 should combined with Season 1

Oh my god no! It should belong in season 2 because it's the first episode of season 2. The first episode being episode 12 of the series overall does not negate that.

It says second season everywhere on the official website. For example,

https://ichigoproduction.com/news/

Oh look at that URL now if you go to ichigoproduction.com/Season2 a PV shows up for season 2.

Re:Zero all over again. It makes a lot more sense to separate it into seasons.

It's their rules, it is better for them to change in the beginning than creating a mess changing it later.

They will change it, whether we like it or not.

Exactly, it's better to start with a season 2... For years this thread will not be closed…

Wow I really would be nice if I could visit this site and have it's data actually match the rest of the internet. What a novel idea! Why I can even go to this anime's official website and read about how Season 2 just premiered but TMDB doesn't think that matters because TMDB MODS KNOW BEST.

Season 2 episode 1 started on July 3rd, 2024 "Tokyo Blade. Please fix asap, messes up Trakt and scraping when you lump S2 episodes into 1 season. Season 1 ended after episode #11 on Nov 23, 2023! IMDB, TVDB is correct in separating into 2 seasons - 7 month break = new season....

Still no fix for this? Season 2 is here, see for example here: https://myanimelist.net/anime/55791/Oshi_no_Ko_2nd_Season

I Agree... ALL THE OTHER WEBSITES HAVE IT SEPARATED BY SEASONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS MAKING TRAKT WRONG!

Examples:

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt21030032/episodes/?season=2

Are the admins even looking at the reported issues or it's 1 guy trying to keep up?

I am trying to figure out the reasoning behind this as all I got was

Per our rules, as long as the episodes are numbered consecutively, they should be added to the same season.

But it literally says Season2 in the URL itself "https://ichigoproduction.com/Season2/story/12.html".

By that reasoning shouldn't TenSura (https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/82684) also have only one season? According to their website they also use episodes that are numbered consecutively as can be seen here: https://www.ten-sura.com/news/anime/tensura/onair/post/10492 (Episode 66). There is Ep 18 of Season 3 in the brackets, but by the same reasoning behind Oshi no Ko that shouldn't play a role the same way as Season2 doesn't in the URL. I could find many more examples like this.
