I've just finished rewatching season 1 for the first time since it originally aired and, damn, there were 4-5 good/decent episodes (The New Breed and Birthright are probably the best ones) and that's it. With the rest it's either horrible CGI (even considering it's from the mid-90s), cringy scenes involving technology or some really poor dramatic acting. And the idea for the final episode of the season was just horrible even if they indeed ran out of budget. The show is supposed to be a bunch of standalone stories without trying to tie them together into a single conspiracy.

I'll keep watching, but I was expecting a lot more... like at least half of the episodes being worth it to rewatch them.
