"Ballet Rose" é uma série baseada no escândalo sexual que ficou conhecido pelo mesmo nome, e que abalou a alta sociedade portuguesa no final do anterior regime. Enquanto decorre um baile de beneficência, a polícia faz uma rusga a uma pensão. Uma das prostitutas detidas é Laura, personagem que há muito tempo preocupa o inspetor da Judiciária.
