Apparently once the episode airs on NBC, that's it because even NBC's streaming Peacock is deleting scenes as well as syndicated TV (CityTV, etc).

I've been looking for the scene that ended on SVU's S23e20 where Stabler walks up and meets Olivia's son Noah. It only aired one time on NBC then was cut out for time by the time NBC Peacock got it.

Why on earth would a streaming service need to cut the scene? Do they air commercials where the episode needs to end on the hour?
