I don't know if it better to list the special in the season 0 or as stand alone. Normally, I prefer the stand alone, but should be standard i all the anime world.

Special TV episodes, single-episode OVAs, recap episodes (unless they are numerated as regular episodes), bonus episodes bundled with the DVD release, and any episodes that didn't air during the initial Japanese TV broadcast belong in the Specials.

Movies are added as movie entries and shouldn't be duplicated in the specials.

I agree, but the problem is that the special are inserted as movie / standalone too. So we have the same title in both the place (movies and season 0). This for a lot of anime

In the case of standalone -> it's a movie. Actually only a special episode - Episode 0 of part 6 are on Season 0.

A special tv isn't a movie. Oav isn't a movie. Thetvdb as all in a specials and in a movie. I prefer a specials methods
