A mysterious power within Sakura is awaken by the ruins as wings sprout from her back. Sakura beings to fade into the seal but Syaoran saves her. However, the wings break as the feathers scatter to many different worlds. Syaoran carries Sakura, now unconsciouses and her life fading away, out of the ruins to find themselves being attacked by mysterious mechanical warriors. Touya manages to keep them back as Yukito finds that Sakura's heart is no longer in this world. With no other choice, Touya leaves Sakura to Syaoran and Yukito sends the two to another world to seek help from the Dimensional Witch. Now in the world of XXXHolic, Syraoran is joined by Kurogane and Fai as he pleads to Yûko to save Sakura.

Transported to the world of XXXHolic, Syaoran, Kurogane, and Fai ask the Dimensional Witch Yûko to grant their wish. Syaoran's wish is to travel to many worlds to restore the memories of Sakura, Kurogane's wish is to return to his own world, and Fai's wish is to travel to different worlds to avoid his own. Though their intents are different, the method is the same and that is to travel between different worlds. However, they must all pay a price before their wishes can be granted. Kurogane's payment is his sword, Fai's payment is the marking on his back, and Syaoran's payment is his relationship with Sakura. Though hesitant about their payment, they pay up and are given Mokana Modoki to travel to the next world. After coming to, the gang find themselves in the middle of a gang war but instead of modern weapons, everyone is fighting with a special technique called a Kudan.

Sorata Arisugawa and Arashi Kishu find Syaoran, Fai, Kurogane, and Sakura (still unconscious but better) and take them to their apartment building. After some rest and less suspicious clothes, the three go around town looking for Sakura's memory fragments. However, Kurogane spots someone who looks like Princess Tomoyo and chases after her. After losing sight of the girl as well as Syaoran and Fai, Kurogane meets the gang from before and a fight ensues.

Sakura is awake and is checking out the town. However, she wakes up without Syaoran, Fai, Kurogane, and Mokana knowing it until it was too late. Things get worse when the leader of the invading gang recognizes her from his encounter with Syaoran and concocts a devious scheme.

Masayoshi and Mokona have been kidnapped by Primera as she leaves a challenge for Syaoran, Fai, and Kurogane. Though they run into some communication trouble since Mokona acts as a translator for them, they make it to Hanshin castle. Fai decides to fight in Syaoran's place as he reveals his Kudan which allows him to fight and a battle between Fai and Primera ensues.

Syaoran and Shogo begin their unfinished fight. As the fight continues in Syaoran's favor, Masayoshi and Primera are in danger as a result of their fight. However, Masayoshi's Kudan saves them but grows to a tremendous size as Mokana senses that Sakura's feather is in Masayoshi's Kudan.

Arriving in the next world, Syaroan and the gang get harassed by the son of the lord there and his thugs. Shortly after, they meet a young girl by the name of Chu'Nyan who chasses the thugs off. When the son runs home to his father, we realize that his source of power is one of Sakura's feathers inclosed in a ball. Due to the wierd clothing that Syaroan and co. are wearing, Chu'Nyan then mistakes them for Mitteishu, or secret investigators from the government sent to the many kingdoms to right wrongs, and takes them to her house. After a long talk with them, she realizes that they couldn't possibly be Mitteishu she tells them about the evil lord of the area and how he murdered her mother. Later on, the young lord and his thugs burn down a townspersons house because they didn't pay their taxes. After a fight between them and Syaroan, Chu'Nyan only keepsake from her mother, her magical fan, ends up getting destroyed.

It is revealed that the Ryanban has a secret weapon which is in the form of a mysterious witch, named Kiishimu. Syaoran is still determined in getting into the castle that has Sakura's feather inside. Though he was hurt from the previous battle, he still plans to go inside.

The villagers of Koryo storm the castle as Chu'nyan follows Sakura; meanwhile, Syaoran continues to battle the Ryanban's son and Fay and Kurogane continue to fight Kiishimu. Kurogane unintentionally frees Kiishimu from her imprisonment set by the Ryanban, by kissing her. Chu'nyan learns that her mother's spirit temporarily inhabits Sakura's body and Chu'nyan comes to understand the true meaning of hijutsu. Her mother gives her own hijutsu mirror to Chu'nyan and departs from Sakura's body.

The villagers tried to attack the Ryanban's castle and are now under his control. To make matters worse, Syaoran sees that Chu'nyan and Sakura are trapped in a bubble and learns that if he attacks the villagers, the girls will feel the effects tenfold. But his determination gives him an edge in the fight as he finds out that the girls trapped inside the bubble are not the real Sakura and Chu'nyan.

In the next world, the group found no people and no buildings. All that's there is a huge lake in which Mokona senses a powerful force. Syaoran dives in to take a look. When he resurfaces Sakura catches him up in her strange memory. Syaoran goes back under water, and while he's gone Sakura has a strange encounter with a creature from the lake. The creature asks questions to her, and as she struggles with this answer, she passes out. In her unconscious state she recovers a memory from when she first met Syaoran. Syaoran has a flashback of his own back to when he attended Sakura's birthday party. Since Syaoran has no memories from the time before Fujitaka became his father, Sakura made it so that his and her birthdays would be on the same day. Sakura regains her consciousness and Syaoran takes her to the bottom of the sea to see a spectacular miniature city. This occurrence reminds Syaoran of the time when Sakura showed him the white birds from the top of the castle. Mokona informs everyone that there's no feather in this world and they leave for the next one.

The group end up in a new world, Jade Country, where there is an old legend story about a golden haired princess who possessed a feather with magical powers and they are convinced that it belongs to Sakura so they go to a forbidden castle with a deep river surrounding it to try find some children that were abducted. While they are in town, they are taking refuge in the house of a kind doctor, Kyle. But while everyone is asleep, Sakura sees the golden haired princess and follows her but then she is suddenly put to sleep. Now Sakura is getting the blame for taking the children and Syaoran is worried that she will never come back alive.

Sakura wakes up after fainting and thinks she sees the Princess. Syaoran and the gang go check with Mr. Grosum if he has one of Sakura's feathers. They search his home to find clues of Sakura’s whereabouts until they're interrupted by Mr. Grosum. Sakura tries to find a way to escape from the room she's in. Meanwhile Syaoran discusses a plan with Doctor Kyle about stalking Mr. Grosum's house. As Sakura escapes, the ghost of the Princess appears to Sakura and tells her a story of a mystical feather came into her possession and how it wards off evil. Syaoran then uncovers the truth and finds out that Dr. Kyle knows where Sakura and the children are.

Sakura tries to escape from the forbidden castle with ghost Princess Emeraude's help. She also brings the children along with her. Meanwhile, Syaoran and all the townspeople want to hear Dr. Kyle's confession. He then confesses that the kidnapping was his doing and he used the children in order to break the feather free. The children escape from the castle but Sakura is still trapped. Dr. Kyle escapes from the townspeople and decides to grab Sakura instead, but suddenly Syaoran comes to rescue her. The castle begins to tremble as the reservoir from the river overflows. While they confront Dr. Kyle, the wall of the castle suddenly breaks and smashes into the doctor. They are freed as they see the castle collapse, and the townspeople thank the group for rescuing their children. At the end of their journey, they realize that they are being watched by someone who is also interested in Sakura's feather.

The story starts off with a girl being hit with a mysterious beam on her head. Inside the shrine, Keefer goes in a saves her from the Guardian of the shrine. The group enters the world, Storm Country, in the middle of a tournament in order to see who is the strongest. Syaoran eventually wins the match. But Keefer needs that sacred object that Syaoran won from the tournament. They both fight to see who gets it, ending with Syaoran giving the sacred object to save the girl.

Our groups of friends end up in a world which is frequently visited by people from other worlds. After they learn they have to register, they are allowed to trade a few items they don't need for money. Then they get to choose an occupation. Fei chooses to be a bartender, Sakura chooses to work as a waitress, Syaoran and Kurogane choose a job that hunt random monsters. Will their temporary occupation bring them any closer to finding Sakura's feathers?

It seems Syaoran and Kurogane had stolen the prey of two demon slayer partners Yuzuriha Nekoi and Kusanagi Shiyuu as they introduce themselves Kurogane discovers from them that Fay and had given him and Syaoran the aliases Big puppy and Little puppy. Back at the cafe they treat the partners to some cake and tea while Kurogane huffs at Fay for the names (he and Sakura are Big Kitty and Little Kitty). The partners get called out for a bounty so leave promising to come back and swap stories. Syaoran and Sakura have a momentary heart to heart when Sakura almost discovers that Syaoran was probably an important person to her, but because of Yuuko's work she instantly forgets her discovery. Syaoran and Kurogan go down to city hall to find out about any strange occurrences when they are directed to the information booth. They meet a woman by the name of Eeri at the info booth who tells that lately demon have been showing up in areas they shouldn't and of a new demon that's appeared that takes the shape of a beautiful woman. They receive an address to a place where to find more information. Kurogane and Fay follow the address when they are surrounded in the streets by a bunch of demon ready to attack.

This episode starts directly from where the previous episode ended. Kurogane and Fai battle the oni, which they manage to stay alive, though Fai's ankle is injured. New oni slayers show up in the store. The person that Kuro and Fai were directed to meet had just left the place. A stronger oni arrives on the scene, doing weird things once more. Syaoran is unable to do much, but the teamwork of the oni slayers takes down the oni. Fai and Kuro come back to give the bad news. At the end, Syaoran realizes that he cannot rely just on his kicking skills and ask Kurogane to teach him how to fight with a sword. The mystery man shows up once again, is he related to the weird incidents that has been happening lately? What about Sakura's feather?

Syaoran and Kurogane go to a sword shop. Kurogane buys a longsword named Sōhi (Blue Ice) and Syaoran gets a sword called Hien (Scarlet Flame). After they buy the swords, Kurogane tells Syaoran not to unsheathe the sword yet because he isn't ready to use it yet. Fay buys a piano for The Cat's Eye but he doesn't know how to play it. Kurogane begins training Syaoran on how to counteract him being blind in his right eye by learning how to balance between his left and right side. A strange woman comes into the The Cat's Eye and starts asking Sakura where she's from and why she's here. Sakura goes into a trance and the woman starts playing the piano and Sakura starts singing. At the end of the episode Sakura is seen inside an egg shaped pod.

Kurogane tells Syaoran to blindfold himself and walk back to The Cat's Eye and that he can't take the blindfold off until he can recognize presences. While training, Syaoran notices that Oni have the presence of something which isn't alive. Kurogane and Fay leave Sakura at The Cat's Eye and go to talk to the lady that saw the new type of Oni. They find out that the Oni is created for the purpose of hunting. The new Oni seems to have Sakura's feather, and reveals himself to be Seishirō.

Syaoran starts remembering about Seishirō and that he was the one who taught Syaoran how to fight. Syaoran and Kurogane go to a tower full of Oni to get information on Seishirō. At the top of the tower they find out that Seishirō is not an Oni and that town hall is planning to eliminate him for interfering. They also find out that the highest level Oni is in the form of a human and can command all other Oni. Seishirō shows up at The Cat's Eye when only Fay and Sakura are there and asks Fay if Kurogane and Syaoran live there.

Seishirō attacks Fay after he asks if Kurogane and Syaoran live there. It is revealed that Seishirō gave his right eye to Yūko to obtain the power to travel between dimensions but unlike Mokona he can only use this power a limited number of times. Fay gets cornered and is defeated. Seishirō uses Sakura's feather and the people in the world start disintegrating like a computer program. When Syaoran and Kurogane get back to The Cat's Eye they find out that Fay was defeated by an Oni and that Sakura may have been taken captive. When Syaoran finds Seishirō and asks him what happened to Fay, he tells him that he killed Fay. Seishirō stabs Syaoran in the chest with a weapon made from Oni. Syaoran starts disappearing but then Sakura comes running out and hugs him and they both disappear.

Syaoran wakes up inside an egg shaped pod. He hears a tapping on the glass and sees Fay there, smiling, and pointing to another pod which contains Sakura. Sakura then awakens too, and she and Syaoran get out of their pods and greet each other. Syaoran wonders where they are; the place they are in looks very different from the town. The group meet up with a woman whom Fay tells them can explain everything, and she does so. The world of Ōto is a virtual reality program in Fairy Park which is a popular game for the residents of the Edonis Country. Syaoran sees that Kurogane and Mokona are still asleep in their pods. The woman tells Syaoran that someone is interfering with the program. This person is trying to turn the virtual reality into actual reality. Kurogane, Mokona, Ryū-ō and the others appear. Seishirō then also appears and Kurogane fights with him. Before long, the true identity of the strongest Oni is revealed.

The fight between the group and the Oni continues, while Seishirō is told the real truth behind everlasting life in the game. Syaoran climbs to the top of the rollercoaster and tells Seishirō that he doesn't think he will be able to beat him in his current state. However, he has decided to get the feather back; so he draws his sword even though he knows he's not quite ready yet. When he draws the sword, it bursts into flames and the fight begins. Seishirō takes off soon after the fight begins, but as he leaves, the Oni are left behind for them to take care of. After finishing them off, Mokona reacts to the power of the item Seishirō used and takes the group to the next world.

As Syaoran, Fye, Kurogane, Sakura, and Mokona arrive to the next world Syaoran collapses of fatigue due to the previous battle. An elderly woman offers her home for them to rest and also tells them the story of the castle. She tells them that if they make it up there alive a wish will be granted to them, but many have tried and died. They decide to investigate and see if it is the work of one of Sakura's feathers. What will be their wish?

La course principale de la Dragon Fly Race débute aujourd'hui. Nos quatre compagnons de route y participent. Tous les participants et les organisateurs sont préoccupés par la question suivante : qui veut saboter la course ?

La Dragon Fly Race se poursuit. Une main invisible intervient dans la course depuis l'extérieur. Ryuo et Shaolan découvrent juste à temps qui est derrière tout ça.

Les globe-trotters arrivent à nouveau dans un nouveau monde. Ils atterrissent tranquillement dans une prairie de montagne. Mokona sent une plume à proximité. Le gardien de la plume est un dragon géant.

Les compagnons de voyage atterrissent au milieu de la mer ouverte. Par chance, un grand bateau à vapeur se trouve à proximité et les recueille. Le chef mécanicien du bateau est un petit garçon qui rappelle à Shaolan son père.

Dans le pays où se trouvent cette fois nos voyageurs du monde, il y a un gros problème : la reine est paralysée depuis des mois par une grave dépression et ne peut pas assumer ses fonctions officielles.

Un nouveau monde : les compagnons de voyage sont séparés en deux groupes et arrivent dans deux tribus qui sont depuis toujours amèrement ennemies.

L'objet des querelles sanglantes qui opposent depuis des générations les tribus Ashura et Yaksha est le « château de la lune ». Sa possession est la promesse d'un pouvoir éternel.

Entre les chefs des deux tribus - la reine de la tribu Ashura et le roi de la tribu Yaksha - des liens d'un grand amour se sont secrètement développés.

Après une dernière étreinte du roi Ashura, une lumière géante émerge et fait vivre la plume de Sakura à la place du roi Yasha. Le roi Ashura explique que le roi Yasha n'a jamais été là au départ, que le roi Yasha est mort depuis longtemps et qu'il n'a pu paraître vivant que grâce au pouvoir d'illusion de la plume. Le roi Ashura étant resté dans le château, elle n'a qu'un seul souhait : faire revivre le roi Yasha, mais comme il est impossible de ressusciter la vie, le château commence à s'écrouler, incapable de réaliser son souhait. Qu'adviendra-t-il d'Ashura et Sakura et les autres parviendront-ils à s'échapper du château ?

Nos héros débarquent dans l'autre monde, mais qu'est-ce que c'est ? Oh non, notre adorable bande a été chibifiée ! Oui, tout le monde est en forme de chibi dans cet autre monde, mais Mokona est introuvable. Tout le monde part à sa recherche. Il semblerait que Mokona se soit reposé dans une chambre avec un artiste. Cette artiste a le pouvoir de manipuler tout ce qu'elle dessine, surtout avec un nouveau stylo qui se trouve être la plume de Sakura. Mokona demande à récupérer la plume lorsqu'il remarque nos amis dessinés en chibiforme dans un nouveau monde sur un morceau de papier posé à côté de la plume. Il semble que la plume les ait dessinés sur le papier, les plaçant ainsi dans une histoire dont ils ne peuvent s'échapper qu'en étant tirés. Avec le fort désir de Mokona de les sauver, il dessine une histoire pour les aider à sortir. Mokona parviendra-t-il à sauver Sakura et les autres ?

La bande se retrouve dans un monde qui ressemble à un désert. Mais lorsque Mokona sort la plume du monde précédent, elle est happée par un camion ! Syaoran et les autres montent dans un bus pour rattraper le camion et ils voient un visage familier !

L'épisode commence avec Syaoran et Kurogane qui décident d'affronter tout le gang des motards et espèrent voler une de leurs motos pour se rapprocher de la plume. Ils battent quelques gars mais après que le gang ait compris qu'ils ne peuvent pas affronter Kurogane et Syaoran, ils s'enfuient. Syaoran retourne au bus. Le lendemain, les autres personnes présentes dans le bus décident de les aider et, heureusement, ils parviennent à rejoindre le camion avec la plume, mais pour ne rien arranger, le gang de motards est revenu pour se venger de Syaoran. Parviendront ils à récupérer la plume de Sakura ?

Syaoran tombe sur le « livre des souvenirs », ou plutôt sur une copie de celui-ci. Kurogane l'ouvre et constate qu'il n'y a rien d'écrit à l'intérieur. Il remet le livre à Syaoran qui l'ouvre et se retrouve face à une version plus jeune de Kurogane. S'agit-il du passé de Kurogane ?

Le chemin vers le livre de souvenirs original passe par la bibliothèque. Mais une barrière en interdit l'accès à ceux qui ont l'intention de le voler. Shaolan trouvera-t-il quand même un moyen ?

Sakura, Syaoran et les autres se retrouvent dans ce qui semble être le pays de Clow. Cependant, ils découvrent plus tard qu'il n'y a personne ici. Fye pense que cela fait partie des souvenirs de Sakura et que les seules choses présentes ici sont celles dont elle se souvient le plus, ce qui explique pourquoi il n'y a pas une seule photo de Syaoran dans sa maison. Fye dit que la plume doit se trouver dans l'endroit qui lui est le plus inconnu, ce qui dans ce cas s'avère être les ruines. Syaoran récupérera-t-il la plume de Sakura à l'endroit où ils étaient allés avant qu'elle ne perde tous ses souvenirs et qu'elle ne parte à la découverte du monde ?

Après que Fye a mis une barrière autour d'eux, Mokona téléporte le groupe hors de danger mais toujours dans le même monde. Ils tentent de se cacher dans la bibliothèque. Pour en savoir plus sur le passé de Syaoran, Kurogane tend un piège à Syaoran pour qu'il ouvre le « Livre des Souvenirs » en premier, mais les choses tournent mal et Kurogane ouvre le livre en premier et Syaoran en second. Syaoran est maintenant piégé jusqu'à ce qu'il ait fini de voir le passé de Kurogane. Pour ne rien arranger, la sécurité du pays a découvert où le groupe se cache. Parviendront-ils à échapper à la sécurité du pays ?

Le monde suivant semble être inhabité, mais tout porte à croire que ce n'est pas le cas. Lors d'un camping, Mokona a du mal à décider avec qui coucher. Syaoran, Sakura, Fay et Kurogane se réveillent le lendemain matin et découvrent qu'ils sont devenus plus petits que Mokona. Cerberus retrouve Mokona et lui explique que tous les humains ont rétréci au Pays de Kero.

Mokona emmène Sakura et les autres dans le pays où ils ont rencontré Chun Hyang. Lorsqu'ils atteignent la ville, ils découvrent rapidement qu'ils ont été attaqués par des démons du monde de Kishimu et qu'ils volent les âmes des villageois. Les villageois évitent tous Chun Hyang car elle croit que Kishimu ne ferait pas cela. Sakura et les autres peuvent-ils aider Chun Hyang à découvrir qui est derrière tout cela et à récupérer toutes les âmes volées ?

Kishimu a emmené Syaoran et Kurogane dans son monde. Ils y découvrent que le fils de Ryanban est à l'origine des attaques. Il a trouvé une des plumes de Sakura et s'en sert pour contrôler l'esprit des démons du monde de Kishimu. Syaoran et Kurogane, avec l'aide de Chun Hyang, parviendront-ils à arrêter le fils de Ryanban ?

Le groupe atterrit dans l'autre monde et trouve la plume presque immédiatement en vente dans une bijouterie. Comment le groupe va-t-il la payer ? Sakura trouve un travail !

Sakura et les autres arrivent dans l'autre monde, et découvrent que le roi de la ville (Chaos) a sa plume. Chaos accepte de donner les plumes à Sakura (il en a plusieurs) si elles lui racontent l'histoire de leur voyage. Chacun lui raconte une partie de son voyage et à la fin, Chaos tient sa parole et donne à Sakura toutes ses plumes. Chaos a renoncé à ces plumes si facilement, prépare-t-il quelque chose ?

Chaos explique à Syaoran qu'il y a d'autres plumes de Sakura là où ils ont trouvé celles qu'il avait. Syaoran décide d'aller les chercher et Fay et Kurogane le rejoignent, laissant Sakura et Mokona seules au palais de Chaos. L'endroit que Chaos a indiqué à Syaoran s'avère être un piège. Qu'est-ce que Chaos compte faire de Sakura ?

Chaos montre sa vraie nature, il veut voyager avec Sakura et trouver toutes ses plumes à la place de Syaoran, Fay, Kurogane et même Mokona. Il montre à Sakura la puissance qu'il a vraiment et bat Syaoran au sol. Cependant, il continue de se relever. Syaoran sera-t-il capable de vaincre Chaos et d'arrêter son plan ?

Le chaos a disputé Syaoran à Sakura. Le gagnant voyage avec elle, mais l'épée de Syaoran se brise lors de son précédent combat. Kurogane entraîne Syaoran à maîtriser son épée. Sera-t-il capable de maîtriser l'épée de Kurogane, de vaincre le Chaos et de sauver Sakura une fois pour toutes ?
