Last night, during the Too Much History episode, I kept thinking, "This is bad. Something BAD is coming." All during Hannah and Adam's day of reconciliation, I was filled with dread. I just kept thinking ... this is too easy ... they're sweeping too much under the carpet. And sure enough, the bubble burst ... and when Hannah sat in that diner with her lip quivering and her eyes FULL of tears, I just lost it. I think I cried for the next 20 minutes. No, there's nothing wrong with me ... although I understand why you'd think so. But that scene was SO touching ... I'm actually going to miss Girls when it's gone. That's a pretty amazing thing considering I hated every single character on it for the first two seasons. Who would've guessed???

No there is nothing wrong with you, certain things/situations touch a persons heart and I am not normally the crying type, but at certain times I surprise myself and . But that caught me off guard and I did not understand why she was crying all of a sudden? Was it the memories? I am planning on watching the aftershow to see if Lena explains that. I have always liked Girls and over the years the characters have taken turns irking me and I am going to miss it much

I always hesitate because you never know if you're projecting your own issues/past onto a character. But I think she was crying because she knew it wasn't going to work. She knew they had been playing house all day. She knew she was going to be raising that baby alone. But again ... projecting? A reviewer wrote that Adam did the most romantic thing possible by NOT addressing Hannah's tears ... and I so disagree with that. In any case, I'll have to watch the after show to see if there's any insight.

PS - I am lost without the IMDB message boards. I have no place to go talk with people about movies and television. I need that outlet!

Maybe so, even though I have hated Adam (a whole lot) in the past, I want it to end with them back together ( even though if it were me I would not ever want him back for getting with my friend).
I disagree with that too, I don't think it was romantic, I just thought he was being goofy Adam again and didn't know what to say.
I really enjoy the after shows.

I still hate to admit... I miss it too. throws imaginary brick through IMDB's internet window
I didn't post much in the 12 years I was there because someone else would always post what I would have said and answer a question I had before I would even ask it. It was a great info and learning place for me.

100% yes ... I didn't post much. I mainly went there to read what others said and read the answer to the questions I was already thinking. The BEST part of their message boards, in my humble opinion ... was anytime I flipped through the movie channels and stopped on some weird movie ... Rosemary's Baby ... or Gone Girl ... or My Big Fat Greek Wedding ... no matter WHAT the movie was, I could just bring up the IMDB message boards and see what other people were saying. And there were always people on it because we were all watching the same movie channels! I am genuinely lost without it. I was hoping this site would fill that gap. :)

Exactly.
Rosemary's Baby one of my old time favorites.
Exactly.
Other people here have said this is the best site they have found so far (hard to believe out of the whole world wide web) which is kind of sad (no offense to the owner) but traffic is very low here.

I was shocked when they closed ... mostly because of the lack of an obvious replacement. I read a heartbreaking article about how message boards are a thing of the past and are no longer supported or needed. The structure of messages boards directly tied to almost ANY movie or television show you could think of ... I can't imagine just eliminating that. I heard that Reddit it supposed to be an option for people who want to just discuss ... but it still isn't the structure of IMDB. And, to me, Reddit just seems like a bunch of comments and data just thrown randomly at the screen. It irritates me. I think this site might do it ... but it needs SO much more traffic. As you said ... no offense to the owner!

Yep, just up and pulled the rug out from under us. Funny how some one else gets to make that decision when so many people obviously still want , support, and like message boards.
Really?I have never been to Reddit and had never planned on it.
Hopefully traffic will pick up over time.

That is exactly what Lena said, you were right. I watched the after show and it was said (can't remember if it was by Lena or Judd) that they have outgrown each other and they were not meant to be. Upon second viewing of the episode I understood that too.
