The ep was in the 4 the season. It was a 16 year old named Lyle. He was supposed to remember everything he read. He presumably had read the entire Holy Bible. He would have seen the Good Book claim the Earth was round. He would seen the jet streams in Ecclesiastes and maybe have known that the jet streams were also true to life ( Lyle is supposed to live in the 1930s and in real life only the previous decade had jet streams been discovered to be real). Unknown if we should think Lyle had read much about Biblical archaeology of the 1930s and earlier ( like Sir. Leonard Wooley's incredible 1920s discoveries at Ur). But he thought of outer space and read much and would probably have realized the Holy Bible was also accurate about much of space. He should have believed in the Bible and God and been like a theistic evolutionist ( and ok'd the Waltons going to Church). Piltdown man would not be discovered till 1950s as a fraud fossil. Of course Lyle knows only what the ep writer wanted him to know. This is similar to the second Star Trek pilot and the character of Gary Mitchell. See my postings.
