Hey!

I 100% agree the Specials series is a mess. It seems to have just become a dumping ground for everything that isn't part of another series rather than distinguishing anything meaningful. There was another thread started a while back where a bunch of us have voiced our concerns at the current state of things, including what should or shouldn't be in specials, what should be their own series, differentiating between canonical entries and extras, etc.

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like those behind-the-scenes at TMDb have taken much notice of this. Until we have a larger and meaningful discussion about the current issues and how best to solve them, there isn't much we can do apart from try and get this issue pushed higher.

I do have hope, though, that with the new "Disney-era" starting in a separate entry on TMDb, no "new" content will need to be added here (only potentially catching up on old, missing content), thus reducing all the activity surrounding this TMDb entry. From now-on, the aim of the game should be to clean everything up.

Please feel free to join in on the discussion on that thread. I would say more here but a lot of my thoughts are already expressed throughout others comments over there. I hope that the more people that can join in the same place can raise the issue up so something can be done about it.
