Was a shock to see Obi Wan killing you-know-who!

Must admit I prefer the original George Lucas continuity where Maul died at the end of episode 1.

Same here. At the very least, he should have died with his brother when they went up against Sidious.

Just seen this - can anyone explain exactly what happened? It looked to me like Obi-Wan cut his sabre in half and he decided just to fall over 🤔

I'm guessing that Obi-Wan's downward thrust was also supposed to have cut his chest in half or something but it certainly didn't seem a clear cut thing to me...

The show is kid-friendly, so they couldn't show Maul cut in half, vertically. That would have been great, though. I assumed what you did: it was a chest wound.
