Are amazing! I would have thought they were CGI bUT I've seen those on Once Upon a Time and they're awful. I will say that the production value on the show is amazing one of the best I've seen.

I am amazed by them too. But I think a lot of them are real. Emerald City looks a lot like Barcelona. Google Gaudi + Barcelona and you´ll find some of them or at least you´ll find their inspirations :)

They're not all sets. As @Master_YODA surmised, some of it is filmed at https://www.parkguell.cat/en/ there's a nice list of some of the locations here: http://www.atlasofwonders.com/2017/01/emerald-city-filming-locations.html.

Amazing sets and costumes, I'm not that familiar with OZ lore so the story itself dosent bother me, but I enjoy the look of this series more than anything else.

I'm mainly talking about the interior sets like the inside of Lady Ev's castle (it looks like French architecture, I guess), but yeah, cool links.

I'd guess that many of those "sets" are locations in Hungary and possibly Croatia. The BBC recently filmed most of their "Musketeers" show in the Czech Republic and I would imagine that there are plenty of similarly opulent "hidden gems" in the areas EC filmed in. Hungary used to be a major world power at one stage (as part of the Austrian-Hungarian Empire) so it make sense that there would be some lovely buildings there.

La Sagrada Familia is my favorite building structure in the world! Love that it is based off of that!

I recognized portions of certain filming locations or architecture as being places I've been in Yugoslavia (at Plitvice Lakes) and the former Czech Republic (in Prague and/or a place or two else thereabouts), and perhaps also Bulgaria. Of course the show's effects team added CGI layers to actual location footage and to the images of actual historic structures and the such, rendering most things to look substantially different than the actual real "as is" sites do.
The week before the series premiered on NBC, there was a 1-hour "making of" special that aired during the Sunday afternoon, and they showed how the filming crew shot extensive actual location footage abroad, filming in striking landscape vistas, and at actual historic structures and complexes, then the CGI team added the unique "fairy tale" look of the show to it electronically. So it's real footage at the core, that causes everything to look convincing (rather than falsely digital), with CGI layered on to it.
