Is it worth watching?

I'd say yes, but then again I watch a lot of shows. It's par with shows like the 100, Vikings, or colony... not the top tier, but not bad. It's original and has a cool idea, lacks production the big budget shows have. I like it, and will continue to watch. They kill off a certain character at some point and I think that was a bad idea but that hasn't stopped me from watching. I'd say give it 3 episodes and decide.

Thanks, I think I'll give it a try when I'm done watching Black Sails. First two seasons of Vikings were great, the last one a bore... So if The Outsiders is somewhere in between I'm good.

Black sails imo is the best show on tv so it won't be nearly as good as that but worth watching I'd think.

Not too good. I saw it coming from a mile away as I'm sure everyone did. Also, pretty soon there won't be any of the main characters left. I don't know where they are going with this.

Well on that other site who's name will not be spoken I had mentioned that I'm not from WV at all and I've never met anyone over there that spoke like a highlander. I was also interested in how the Ferrell clan had never met these folks all these years. I mean you live off the grid, how do you not meet them before now? Asa situation pissed me off.

Yeah, I thought it odd that they had never met before. I think the accents and the way they word things (archaic talk) is because they have been on that mountain since their families first came there, probably a hundred years ago. So, they never got "modernized" and learned to speak like we do. And the Scottish accent never went away since that is all they have heard.

I really find it strange that the Farrell clan knows a lot of current lingo. I can't think of anything off hand, but sometimes they say things that they just shouldn't be up on. Then Hassell doesn't know what rent is, which makes sense. I don't think they are too consistent with the clan's knowledge of the times.

This had so much promise. I think Anderson sabotaged the show. Losing Asa was a dealbreaker.

@Dane_Bramage Do you know what happened to Joe Anderson? Why he left the show? And now Hasil is laying there on deaths door (Kyle Gallner being the only other person I think is tolerable on that show) ....ugh!

I think they tried to throw in a couple things like the hipster ecowarrior mailing evidence on his way outta dodge and his conversation with Wade seemed a bit out of place. Cancellations suck!

that actor was pretty close to being unbearable, his accent was insanely bad and he was incredibly unlikeable.....even big foster you could sometimes root for, but not asa
