Overview

2036년 차원간 전자 유도 장치 코일의 발명으로 인류는 네 번째 차원축 W로 부터 무한 에너지를 꺼내는데 성공하고 획기적인 진화를 맞이하게 된다. 그로부터 36년 후, 서기 2072년. 인류의 에너지 체계는 완벽하게 코일로 대체되어 기존 석유 연료 같은 것은 거의 사라졌다.하지만 코일의 발명 이면에선 어두운 면모도 만들어냈는데, 불법적으로 만들어진 코일이 바로 그것. 이 코일은 정규 코일과 달리 불법적으로 유통되어 엄청난 에너지를 가지고 있는데다 폭주하기 쉬운 존재였기에 코일을 관리하는 뉴 테슬라에서 엄격하게 관리하고 있었다. 미래도시 센트럴 47에 사는 주인공 마부치 쿄마는 어두운 과거를 뒤로 하고 의뢰를 받아 불법 코일을 회수하며 혼자 살아가고 있었다. 그러던 어느 날 평소대로 불법 코일을 회수하던 중, 한 사건에 얽히며 수수께끼의 소녀 미라와 마주치게 되는데…
