That post seems to be taken down. This only became a problem recently, so it looks like something was recently changed

Sorry to reopen this if its not correct procedures but seems like the right place to ask this question. If not we can then move into its own thread. I understand that TMDB has decided to combine 05x01 and 05x02 into a single entry due to the rules that it was aired as a single episode, no concerns on that. However, can I ask why the rest of the episode number have not been redone to reflect this ? It currently goes 05x01, 05x03, 05x04 etc... (skipping 05x02). Surely the numbering should be re synced like has been done for many other shows, https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/2289-seaquest-dsv/discuss/6149ebbd511d09008a20815c as one example.

This has been done like this because this is the way the broadcaster has numbered the episodes, as it is visible here.

The broadcaster has explicitly skip number 2.

In your example, the episode following the double episode were numbered as episode 2.

Well I've read these message and I'm with an episode 2 in my season 5. What would changes adding an episode 2 page here, since the your double episode leads to the third anyway ? I have to say I obviously can't add this episode myself for reasons I do not know.

We follow the original broadcast which took place with a double-length episode 1 and no episode 2.
