Im a fan of old school throwback sitcoms like Man With a Plan. They get criticized but I'm glad to see networks take a chance on them. Man with a Plan got some pretty harsh reviews when it premiered in the fall, but I think it ended up being a pretty solid sitcom (at least in season 1). Kevin Nealon was great in his role as the brother. He and Matt LeBlanc jelled well and created a nice brothers vibe. It was also great seeing Liza Snyder back on TV. I loved watching her on Yes, Dear. She plays the sitcom Mom really well. The show ended up making some pretty good episodes throughout season 1. I'm glad CBS renewed it for another season, and I'm looking forward to season 2.

Agree. I had hesitations about another Matt leBlanc project -- he was my least favorite "Friend", and "Joey" was awful, but he's really shining here. The brother is hilarious. The kids are tolerable and the wife is a good fit. I hope this show hangs around for a few years.

He is good on episodes, where he plays a comedic version of himself, even won an emmy for that iirc
