It's like a ratchet version of Empire. Can't stand the main character but most of the music is good.

I can't believe they killed off Hunter and Eva! I hope they don't pull a Dallas and make it all a dream. And Cotton's arrest. I need to go back and watch because I'm confused. Did they cuff him before surgery? And that last song about America was tight.

Well, let me start by saying Im glad other people are commenting. I didnt see anyone here for a while and didn't want to make the first post so I thought no one would be interested but I guess I was wrong. LOL. Secondly, I hate/love this show. Mainly because i think it has potential. Some parts I find intriguing: Cotton, the main girls' interaction, the sisters, some of the music, Hunter. Then it goes to tired soap opera territory and I'm like "What?" Still, I can't wait for next season. I hope they step it up and people watch because it wasn't doing so well in the ratings I've heard.

I miss this show already! I feel like you get more storyline with Star whereas most of Empire's episodes tend to turn into one big music production. Wish they would find a way to put them on the same night again.
