Up till 20 years ago, together with his father and 3 other people, Homura Masayoshi was part of the legendary group of thieves that called themselves 「TAKE FIVE」. This group stole from the rich who had acquired their wealth through immoral means. Due to an incident, Masayoshi decided to retire from the group, and settled into his life as a professor of Psychology at a reputable university. One day, he runs into a mysterious homeless woman, who passes him a picture of a Leonardo Da Vinci's painting, which prompts him to re-enter the world of thievery and resurrect 「TAKE FIVE」.

Sasahara Rui joined the Burglary Division in the footsteps of her father, who had died in an accident involving a burglary heist. She wows to take down 「TAKE FIVE」 and stop them from stealing again.

Il y a 20 ans, Masayoshi était membre d'un groupe de cambrioleurs nommé "TAKE FIVE". Son père était aussi dans le groupe. Maintenant, il mène une vie ordinaire et honnête, travaillant comme professeur de psychologie à l'université. Un jour, il reçoit une photo d'un tableau de Léonard de Vinci d'une mystérieuse sans-abri. Elle indique à Masayoshi que le tableau est entreposé dans l'entrepôt de sécurité de Toto Bank comme si elle connaissait le passé de voleur de Masayoshi.

Masayoshi curieux de savoir si le tableau est vraiment stocké à Toto Bank, reforme "TAKE FIVE". Le groupe décide de travailler dans le cadre où ils ne voleront que des objets de grande valeur à des personnes malfaisantes.

Por esta razão o grupo dissolveu-se e cada um continuou sua vida deixando o mundo do roubo. Homura Masayoshi era um dos integrantes e atualmente dá aulas de Psicologia numa boa universidade. Um dia encontrou-se a com uma estranha mulher que lhe mostrou uma foto do retrato de Lucrezia, pintado por Leonardo da Vinci, lhe convidando a entrar de novo nesse mundo que deixou para trás. A partir daí, de uma forma ou outra, ressuscitará "Take Five" sem saber ainda qual é o verdadeiro significado desse retrato nem a identidade dessa misteriosa mulher.
