Based on the comics?

Dont know how they are going to do this one. I mean the comics are pretty fucking hardcore, rape, fucking, dismemberment, gore...big dog balls. I mean if they are sticking to the hard R material I think it will do really well, especially with the fans. But if they are going to water this shit down...eh dont think it will do to good. Anyone read the comics?

I read the books a few years ago and liked them although I wasn't crazy about the ending.
I'm 3 episodes in and they have deviated from the books quite a bit, but so far not in a terrible way. I knew they couldn't fit ALL the stuff from the books because it's so bonkers but it seems like they're distilling it into something more streamlined. I'm just hoping the changes don't screw it up but so far I'm optimistic.

4 episodes in and I agree. No way they could put everything in from the books. But they kept the essence of the book. Something that is really rare no a days. Im looking forward to finishing it up and also for the 2nd season already green lit.
