El Día del Rey Julien se aproxima y Maurice le pide a los pingüinos, los chimpancés y Marlene que lo celebren, sobornándolos con darles una piñata llena de dulces al final de la celebración. Cansado de la obsesión de Mort con sus pies, Julien proclama una nueva ley con la que cualquiera que toque sus pies será expulsado de "su reino". Mort, sin poder evitar estar lejos de ellos, es expulsado. Marlene le pide a Skipper que ayude a Mort y éste es puesto bajo entrenamiento.
