No one is a bigger fan of Julia Roberts'. I have nothing but praise for her career choices and acting abilities. For the love of God, though, and to people in Julia's camp who may read this: Stop putting her in these god-awful wigs when trying to "dress her down" or make her look plain. It's distracting. We met Julia, basically, in Steel Magnolias (even though she'd achieved success in Mystic Pizza). We knew when she had on a wig in parts of that. In Pretty Woman, her character wore a wig at the beginning. In Dying Young, her extensions were painfully obvious. Same as in reshoots for My Best Friend's Wedding. In Secret In Their Eyes, again, painfully obvious. On and on. The point? She can't pull off wigs without the viewer being distracted, especially bangs. Horrible. Figure out some other way. Cool?
