I thought this may be one of those many foreign-language thrillers with shoddy production values that are all over Netflix -- all guilty pleasures true but the quality varies greatly. But this is a high-budget BBC production and just excellent. Strong performances all around and I'm impressed by Jenna Coleman who has really grown as an actress. She's great in this. Not an easy watch and I can't imagine binging this... it might be too dark for that. Being in the 1970's Asian neon underbelly, I keep waiting for Jack Flowers from Saint Jack to show up!
