Michael Easton Exits General Hospital — Watch Announcement Video

Guess we all saw that coming. I'd rather he reprise McBain than leave altogether.

It seems the downfall of both Eastman and Howarth was having their characters paired with Liz.

I don't blame Becky at all. The twit Kristen Storms was Austin's downfall.

One of the worst pairings ever

Who said anything about blaming Becky? It’s the writing that paired Liz and Finn together when they obviously had zero chemistry.

Ok I reviewed Holt’s history and I see he wasn’t in a relationship with Liz. My bad.

Easton and Roger character writing was treated bad after the whole one life to live persona left gh and that led to their downfall on the show

I think Finn is just playing Chase. He did a 180 really quick when he was sitting on that bench with Chase. I think he will somehow abscond with Violet and go on the run with her.

That's interesting if they did that.

Obviously I was wrong. The writers didn't go in that direction but it's the direction I would have taken.

He was too entrenched as a good guy for that to be believable.

I'd go bonkers on the last day. Finn is killed, the murder is investigated by McBain, and in the end we find out Finn was killed by Caleb. Oh and a one-off with Hayden appearing to take Violet away, revealing Nikolas didn't kill her he BRIBED her to stay away.

no resurrection of Silas for this? c'mon! :)

Maybe Finn and Silas meet in heaven? lol

That would have been an interesting direction had it not been Michael Easton’s last day. The only way that SL could have worked would have been if he was only going on vacation for a few months instead of permanently leaving.
