The Movie Database Support

Hi there, on the sign up screen I saw one of the "Benefits of being a member" of "Log the movies and TV shows you have watched", but I could not how to do it on the web UI or the API documentation. Could you please help me understand how this works and if this is also supported in API? Thanks.

Sorry if this is a dead horse. While looking through my password vault to clean it up from old cruft I was reminded that I had the aspirations of utilizing TMDB more since it's such a nice open service. I went to mark some movies as "Watched" since I thought that would be a good starting point but found that there was no such option.

I know I've seen the movie Her and the movie The Lobster (and [hundreds of other movies]). I remember I liked them but how much in terms of stars and ratings? Nope, makes little sense as it's not fresh and ratings are just oddly arbitrary impressions, numerical impressions based on the chemical balance of a moment long since passed. I'd just like to add it to a watched list and maybe have those data points guide me to other movies in relation to those ones and maybe when I watch something new mark it as watched and give it a rating since the impression is fresh.

Is there any argument to not have the ability to mark content as simply, neutrally "Watched"? Or should I just turn to the mentioned "Reelgood" website for this purpose?

Idk, seems like a no-brainer to not force ratings in order to mark as watched?

I've always just used Reelgood. But I live in the U.S.. If you aren't in the U.S., you might need to do something else.
