개요
길가메스와 발라란트. 100년을 끌어온 두 행성연합간의 전쟁이 막바지를 향하고 있던 시기. 레드 숄더의 일원이었던 키리코 큐비는 어느 부대의 작전에서 활동하게 된다. 한데 합류한 부대가 습격한 곳은 아군의 기지. 이해 못할 상황 속에서 키리코는 나체 상태로 유리관 속에 있는 정체불명의 여성과 조우한다. 그런데 폭발이 일어나고, 홀로 남겨진 키리코는 다른 아군 부대에게 체포되어 지독한 심문을 당한다.
PS(퍼펙트 솔저)는 어떻게 되었냐는 심문이 이어지지만 키리코는 아는 게 없어 답할 수도 없었고, 계속된 심문 속에 키리코는 틈을 봐서 탈출에 성공, 우도로 스며든다.
이것이 키리코와 피아나 두 사람, 그리고 아스트라기우스 은하의 비밀을 둘러싼 이야기의 시작이었다.
